My Work

Touch any specialty to explore selected projects

With a little help from my friends

Beginning very early in my career, I've had roles that allowed me to take a 360° view of marketing -- and shape that view for customers across all touchpoints. It's given me a strong foundation for evaluating and delivering the right mix -- plus a keen drive to anticipate changes.

Change is good. It can bring fresh energy and spark new ideas. I'm very comfortable in "reboot" and startup mode. 5 acquisitions and 23 company restructurings encourage me to think and act like a startup, every day.

The chance to specialize in digital marketing so early in my career has kept me nimble.  I love to learn new things. That's good, as marketing isn't slowing down any time soon.

I've had wonderful opportunities to work with some of the best companies, amazing colleagues and talented creative agencies around. I've been lucky to learn from very gifted engineers, experience planners, analysts, developers, designers, service techs and operations folks of all kinds.

I'm a sucker for sales reps that really love what they do and will share their experience. I know they typically think that marketing can't really help them - and it feels great when I can change their mind. I have logged lots of field sales hours and have immense respect for their skill and contributions.

I've lead large global, cross-functional teams and directly managed teams of all sizes - and coordinated groups of volunteers. Every experience has taught me something.

It's been a real team effort. I hope some of this comes thru in my work.

“ If you’re a good marketing person, you have to be a little crazy. â€œ
